No Taxation Without Pay Cuts for Congress

Are you annoyed with the Congress and its unwillingness to do the right thing for "We the People"? If so, it is time to act. We have to send our elected officials a message that can not be ignored. Suggest that the demand for Congress to pass without raising taxes without forcing them to accept a pay cut of an amount equal to the proposed tax increase. That should wake up!

It is our right to vote, I say it is our duty to vote for elected officials to recognize that is your boss. You and I can not go to your boss and demand a raise, we have to win. So our elected officials should have to earn their keep by protecting our interests and not their own pockets at our expense. The only way to ensure that the message is to vote out of office the next time you are up for reelection.

If we continue as we are now, the country will be bankrupt in the short term. Our creditors, payment request and begin to dictate how we live. I hope you realize that our biggest creditor is the Communist Chinese. I dare not speculate what would happen if they called the debt. Mao would be guys running our government? This is a chilling thought.

I propose a new form of patriotism, the next time that representatives get to the election, send a message, vote out.

Another message we send to our elected officials, is term limits. We will work for two periods and then moves up or out. If we continue to put new blood in the will have a better chance to make things right and not a party to the corruption that is endemic at all levels of government. This begins at the local level, how many examples do you need before we do? Do not keep re-election the same time vague and over again. Because in the faces of every time a new term has ended. It is the only way to keep at bay.

The new patriotism is the exercise of our rights we must make it clear that politics as usual is no longer an option we can afford. Those who do not vote have no right to complain about the way things are going. However, when only 13% of voters to the polls for general elections, what are the rest of us to do. Talk to your neighbors and encourage them to vote. Make sure you and keep up with your elected officials and know how they feel about issues that affect you and them. Do not be shy, it's easy to communicate with our representatives, you can write, send email, but more important to vote out when his second term has ended.
