Deny Defeat

Participated in the upper levels of track and field in my younger days, I remember many athletes who choked under pressure and could not fulfill its peak and peak performance when it really counted. Luckily, I'm not sure why, I never had that problem. Fortunately, I was always in the right mindset. Although, when I look back and reflect on all this, I realize that it was not by accident. In other words, I became one with the athlete who wanted to be in my mind until it became that person in real life.

Perhaps it is in line with Maltz "Psychocybernetics" or the theory that must "believe to achieve," and maybe that's half the battle. Mental toughness is part of winning, we all know that. Those who are not mentally strong will have a difficult time consistently putting in maximum yields. For psychologists who specialize in sport psychology and the psychology of winning, often speak of the reality that "you have to want to win," or you have to be "in it to win it," if want to compete at higher levels.

They say that athletes who visualize victory in their minds before the competition, are often able to will their bodies to do the things you can not have the genetic dispensation to achieve, and are capable of going beyond its capacity, forcing higher altitudes, faster times, and athletic achievements that seem impossible. For this I agree, and I would like to add anything. Must deny defeat, and even delete the word "lose" from his memory. As Vince Lombardi said, there is only one place in your book to be and that comes first.

How to get there, do not necessarily have to be pretty, and it is okay if you give everything you have, and it takes days to recover, to still be standing and walking again. There are few athletes who have pushed so hard, but became one of them. Does that make me proud? Maybe not, since it was a lot of pain to endure, but I remember what an individual can do when they refuse to give up, and will not accept anything but victory, and if full live denial of defeat.

It's easy to make excuses, it is easy to accept defeat, and I guess the more you do, the easier it is for you. But I would say you have to push harder, work harder, and when the best is not enough, it's time to think, breathe, sleep and winning. Okay for the victory of his best friend, and defeat your worst enemy. And in that process will become one with your best friend. Being the winner, Deny defeat. In fact I hope to please consider all this and think about it.
